Expert Medical Fellow ($695/year)
You have current licensed credentials for your specialty. In addition to the regular benefits of membership, you are available to be an active consultant within EMC, eligible for compensated research and medical malpractice avoidance educational contracts developed by EMC. With this status, you may be involved in review of patient medical records, and proprietary internal risk management issues of healthcare systems. A confidentiality agreement between you and EMC to provide for HIPAA compliant patient data security, analysis of conflicts of interest, and your credentials review by the National Practitioner Data Bank is required.
Expert Medical Associate ($395/year)
You have completed training in an approved medical or allied health specialty program and you are licensed. Membership as an Associate entitles you to regular access to the EMC website including medical malpractice avoidance education and newsletters published at the website. Medical malpractice database information in each specialty will be available to member associates as required for legal purposes.
Expert Medical Trainee ($95/year)
You are a medical student, medical or allied health specialty resident in training. You will have access to member-only medical malpractice avoidance education and the medical malpractice history database. You may be involved in certain research project activities. This status ends with completion of your residency training.
